1. Acceptance of terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Destina Edu – Parent App (the "App"), provided by Destina Infotech LLP ("we", "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Eligibility

The App is intended for use by parents and legal guardians of students enrolled at a school that uses the App, and, where applicable, by authorised school staff. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account.

3. Accounts & security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at destinainfotech@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

4. Parent/guardian authorisation

Access to student information through the App is provided based on the relationship and authorisation established by the relevant school. You must not register for, access, or use an account to view information relating to a student unless you are authorised by the school to do so.

The school may add, modify, suspend or remove a parent's or guardian's access to student information. Destina Edu may rely on instructions from the relevant school when establishing or changing such access.

5. School-provided information

Student, academic, attendance and other school-related information displayed in the App is provided by, and remains the responsibility of, the relevant school. The school is the source of record for this information. Destina Edu provides the technology through which authorised parents or guardians can view information shared by the school and does not independently create or verify the underlying school records.

If you believe that student information is inaccurate, incomplete or requires correction, you should contact your child's school directly. Where appropriate, we may assist in routing the request to the school.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Access or attempt to access another parent's account or another student's information
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App
• Use the App to transmit unlawful, harassing, defamatory, or abusive content
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the App or its backend services
• Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the App without our written permission
• Use the App for any purpose that could endanger the safety of a child

7. Intellectual property

The App, including its design, text, graphics, logos and underlying software, is owned by or licensed to Destina Infotech LLP and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited licence to use the App as intended, these Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or other intellectual property.

8. Service availability

We aim to keep the App available and functioning correctly but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Access may be suspended for maintenance, updates, or events outside our reasonable control.

9. Third-party services

The App may rely on or link to third-party services (for example, cloud hosting or push notification delivery) as described in our Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for the availability or content of third-party services.

10. Payments

Destina Edu – Parent App is currently provided free of charge and does not currently offer paid plans, subscriptions, or in-app purchases directly from parents.

11. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, if required by the relevant school (including where your authorization to access the student's information has ended), or if necessary to protect the security or integrity of the App.

You may stop using the App and request deletion of your parent/guardian account at any time. Account deletion is subject to the applicable account deletion process and, where required, authorisation or instructions from the relevant school. See Account & Data Deletion.

12. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted, or that information displayed by the App (including school-provided student information) is complete or error-free.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Destina Infotech LLP shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from or related to your use of the App. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

14. Changes to the service & these terms

We may update the App and these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes to these Terms, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you through the App. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any mandatory rights or remedies available to you under applicable law, the courts having jurisdiction in Belagavi, Karnataka, India shall have jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms.
